Our firm is comprised of a group of motivated and imaginative landscape professionals with backgrounds in landscape architecture, landscape construction, turf grass management and horticulture.
SALLY REAM
FOUNDER
Sally is the founding partner at Ream Design and has over 35 years of experience working in the Green industry. Her passion for plants and learning led her to study Landscape Design at Radcliff College in Cambridge and complete the Master Gardener Program at UMASS Waltham. Sally is a Massachusetts Certified Horticulturist, an avid birder and was raised in a tradition of observation and stewardship of flora and fauna.
Sally’s role includes customer relations and horticultural management. She is involved in every aspect of a project, including the design process and construction phases, and is expert in bridging the gap between design and the aftercare of built work. Sally works closely with clients to ensure that the creative vision and health of their finished landscape is realized long after construction is complete.
ALEX REAM
GENERAL MANAGER
Alex is a general partner of Ream Design and has over 20 years of experience working in the Green Industry. He is responsible for business development, systems and processes, finance, and budgeting. Alex has provided leadership which has served to strengthen the strategic and marketing efforts of the firm. He has developed and installed systems and workflows that promote collaboration, efficiency, and profitability.
Alex currently holds a Massachusetts Unrestricted Construction Supervisor License, Class A CDL License and is UMASS Green School certified in turf grass management.
MARCUS RODRIGUEZ
PROJECT MANAGER
Marcus has over 20 years of experience working in the Green Industry and is a general partner of Ream Design. He graduated from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst and the Stockbridge School of Agriculture, earning a Bachelor of Science in Landscape Architecture and an Associate Degree in Landscape Contracting. He brings both creative and technical skills to the firm.
Marcus is the consummate project manager. He is responsible for all phases of every project, from design to construction. He is expert in the execution of schematic design, construction details, preparation of cost estimates and onsite construction management and administration. Marcus’s strong design and technical background helps to maintain a project’s design integrity from concept through construction and ensures a successful collaboration with clients and other disciplines. His role increasingly maximizes business development and customer relations.
